Brand photography pricing guide for Toronto entrepreneurs

How much does brand photography cost in Toronto?

Amanda Shear Photography offers three brand photography packages in Toronto, ranging from $595 to $1,950, depending on shoot length, number of outfit changes, and whether video content is included.

Most photographers keep pricing private until a discovery call. Here’s the real breakdown, no guessing required.

The Brand Experience — $595

A 1 hour photoshoot with 2 to 4 outfit changes.

Includes:

  • A strategic creative planning call
  • A personalized shoot plan (mood board, shot list, prop and wardrobe guidance)
  • Fully directed posing and shot placement
  • 20+ high-resolution, retouched photos of your choice

Best for: a brand refresh, a new headshot, or a small batch of on-brand content.

Core Brand Session — $795

A 2 hour photoshoot with 3 to 6 outfit changes. Includes the same planning process as above, plus:

  • 30+ high-resolution, retouched photos of your choice

Best for: entrepreneurs who want real variety and a gallery that lasts for months.

1/2 Media Day — $1,950

A 3 to 4 hour session across up to 2 locations, with 4 to 10 outfit changes. Includes full creative direction throughout, plus:

  • 50+ high-resolution, retouched photos
  • 3 edited reels plus all raw b-roll footage
  • Content ready for both social media and your website

Best for: entrepreneurs who need photos and video content in a single day.

Add-On: BTS Content Creator — $400

Add a behind-the-scenes content creator to any package for $400.

  • Includes up to 2 hours of shooting, 1 edited reel, plus all the raw footage from your shoot, ready for your own editing or reposting.

Best for: entrepreneurs who want authentic BTS content alongside their photos, without booking a separate videographer.

What’s included in every package?

Every package includes full creative direction from start to finish. Before we ever pick up a camera, you’ll fill out a brand questionnaire so I can dive into your specific business, audience, and goals, not just your outfit preferences. From there, you get a personalized shoot plan, a planning call, and hands-on guidance for posing and direction during the session itself.

Most photographers hand you a shot list and send you off to figure out the rest. This is different: you walk in prepared and walk out with content that’s actually built around your business, not just a nice photo of you.

How much does a photography studio cost in Toronto?

Studio rentals in Toronto typically run $70 to $125 per hour, depending on the space and location. Popular natural-light studios like Mint Room run around $100-$125/hour, while spaces like Casa Bona average closer to $140/hour for a 2 hour block. Budget-friendly options can start as low as $60 to $89/hour.

Studio rental is billed separately from photography packages and depends on the space chosen for your shoot. As a Mint Room Studios family member, I can pass along discounted studio rates to my clients when we shoot there. I’ll help you pick the right studio for your vision and budget during your planning call.

What should I budget for brand photography in Toronto?

Budget between $595 and $1,950 for a professional brand photography session in Toronto, depending on shoot length and whether you need video content included. A single-hour session with 20+ retouched photos starts around $595, while a half-day media package with photos and video content runs closer to $1,950.
